
CURRICULUM
The innovative Wasatch Resort Management program is a 5-semester bachelor's degree course of study during which students work as paid interns with one of WARM's high-end resort partners. Students meet with resort representatives and are offered a position that matches student interests with resort needs. Here's how the 20 months are structured:

Fall and Summer Semesters (low season)​
Students work part-time (18+ hours) at a qualifying partner resort while they study full-time.

December Holiday Break and Spring Semesters (high season)
Students will work full-time (35+ hours) at a qualifying partner resort while they study part-time.​​
Students work within a variety of meaningful roles during their internships in order to ensure a full breadth of professional experience prior to graduation. Advancement is possible based on performance and employer need. WARM’s hotel partners pay students a competitive wage with a minimum of $16 per hour after tips. Students often earn more (the average is $25 per hour) depending on the property, the student’s position, prior work experience, and time in the program. Here are some important program details:

Important Note: Some of these courses/credits may be waived if similar courses have been previously completed at another school. This may reduce the number of required semesters to graduate. Transcripts must be provided during the application process, and these credit transfers are at the discretion of the WARM program director. Transfer students must complete at least 30 credits through UVU to graduate from the WARM program.
